The Cataloguing Syria project, launched in 1999, aims at promoting Syrian traditional industries and handicrafts through creating an image and providing them with one of the tools necessary to penetrate international markets. Two catalogues, within this project, have already been produced :
The Essential Oils catalogue is the third within Cataloguing Syria
project. In order to maiximise the benefit form the catalogue it is
distributed to all relevant parties such as Chambers of commerce and
industry and information centres in Europe, The Mediterranean countries
and North and South American .
